how much hair do i need?
This depends on two things:
The natural density of your hair
What are your goals? Want to fill in the sides? Add volume? Add length?
If you are wanting to fill in the sides, we recommend our Petite set (40-50 grams of hair). If volume is your goal then we recommend our Volume set (60-80 grams). If you are wanting to add length then a minimum of 100grams is required. All of these sets can be found on our booking website. What length should i get?
As a rule of thumb, we recommend extensions should be no longer than twice the length of the hair in your crown section. This ensures the most natural installation and the least amount of tension. The longer the hair, the more tension at the scalp. We have attached our visual length guide below to give you an idea of what length you may be after!
Please note the studio stocks up to 22 inches, and can order in 24 inches on special request.
how long do they last?
Keratin Bonds can last anywhere from 3-5 months depending on your hair density and at home care. Clients who have thinner and more fragile hair are only recommended to wear extensions for a maximum of 3 months, to avoid excess tension as the bonds grow out.
CAN YOU COLOUR MATCH ME?
We stock majority of colours in the salon, from platinum blonde to rooted balayage bronde and everything in between!. Every extension appointment includes custom colour matching with one of our extension specialists. We also custom blend extensions for the most seamless finish. Please note we do not hold copper/red extensions in stock so you will be required to come in for a consult prior to your appointment.
how do i book?
You can head straight to our website and book online, where a 25% booking fee is required. This is fully redeemable at your appointment. You can also contact the salon directly through instagram, email or via phone to make a booking.
I’ve booked! what happens now?
After we have received your booking fee we will be in contact with you via text. This text serves as a virtual consultation where we will ask for images of your hair currently and your goals.
FAQ
Do you offer curly or textured extensions?
Yes we do! This is our premium extension service as these extensions are slavic sourced single donor tails of hair. This process can take 2-3 weeks as we need to find a match for your curl pattern and colour. These extensions can be worn seamlessly with your natural texture. As this is a premium service pricing is on application.
do i have to come in for a consult?
No you don’t! After booking we will send through a virtual consultation. You are still more than welcome to book an in salon consult before your appointment if you would prefer.
*All copper/red/vivid extensions MUST have an in person consult.
can i have my colour done while i have extensions in?
We recommend that your hair colour is fresh before installation. While you have extensions in we only recommend doing regrowth services (1/4 head of foils or regrowth tint). The salon has a team of specialist colourists, and we can guide you if you want to refresh or change your colour before your install.
